Recycled Windshield = New Glasses!
I was doing a little searching on the Web, and found what I consider to be one of the more unique things you can do with a broken windshield.
While it hasn’t caught on so much here in the United States, a cracked windshield in some parts of the world will end up on the commodities market. In Columbia, local artisans are now converting the local cracked windscreen into these hand made glasses. [click to continue…]

As I come up on my five-year anniversary working in the autoglass industry, I have taken some time to think about all the various people I have had the pleasure of speaking with, and the things they say when they have a broken windshield. Now that we are launching our new consumer website www.teleglass.com, I thought it was time to pass along some of my automotive glass knowledge to the public. As an auto glass repairs professional I would like to take a moment to inform my readers of the proper names for automobile glass. Although I have enjoyed the years of interesting names, I feel I can help clarify some issues.
