A little excitement around here recently as this hawk tried to join the customer service party inside TeleGlass headquarters. Check it out! I guess maybe he really liked his reflection (or disliked?).

It’s pretty cold in Washington, DC, but when we went looking for a new photo for our Washington, DC auto glass page, we found this:

Washington DC

Doesn’t that look like a nice warm day? Once we’ve done our usual cropping, our Washington DC windshield page looks like this:

Big thanks to timomcd from Flickr for use of his photo.

Continuing the grand tour around these 50 United States of America, we find ourselves in the Lone Star State. Need a windshield in Texas? Jared (that’s jaredten to those of you on Flickr) shared this photo with us:

Texas

As usual, we couldn’t use the entire image, but when we were done, we still have a beautiful sunset of Austin, Texas:

We’re pleased to have this image for our Texas auto glass page. Thanks again, Jared!

Now that the holidays are behind us, we continue on our quest to update all our state pages with some fresh imagery. Today’s image comes to us courtesy of Ashley Fetner Fine Art Photography. Ashley’s image below is being used on our South Carolina auto glass page.

South-Carolina

It really hurt to crop this amazing image down, but it still looks beautiful:

Ashley – thank you so much for sharing your work for our South Carolina windshield repair page!

For those of you in colder climates, don’t forget to take your car through an automated station to get the salt off. Not only will your vehicle last longer and look better, but you’ll make sure you have an unobstructed view through your windshield.

Be safe out there!

You might remember Paul Sapiano (or peasap on Flickr) allowed us use one of his fantastic panoramic photos to update our New York Auto Glass page. This time he is sharing a shot of the Mystic river to adorn our page dedicated to anyone who needs a windshield in Connecticut.

Here’s Paul’s original:

Connecticut

Here’s what is now on our Connecticut auto glass page:

Thanks again, Paul. It looks great!

Today we visit the Ocean State. We have a new photo on our Rhode Island auto glass page today! Laram777 was kind enough to share this photo from Portsmouth:

Rhode Island

Once again, it’s a pity we cannot use the entire photo, but the cropped version looks really nice, too:

Continuing our tour of the nation, we are updating the New Jersey auto glass page today. It’s a good thing too, as we had a pretty grainy photo on that page until BMigulski shared this photo with us:

New Jersey

It’s too bad we couldn’t use more of this photo from Branch Brook Park in Newark, but it still looks pretty good when cropped to size:

Big thanks to BMigulski for the photo. See more at the Migulski Art Gallery, with art, illustrations, graphic design, and photos galore.

Today, we shift our focus out west, thanks to the_tahoe_guy‘s generosity in sharing this amazing shot from the Golden State. Anyone surfing to our California windshield page will now see a picture derived from this photo:

California

We tried cropping it a few different ways, but in the end decided the far right portion of the image worked best with our very specific requirements:

CA-California

So if you’re in need of auto glass in California, we’re happy to help. For some truly amazing shots, please visit the_tahoe_guy on Flickr.
