Ahh, the Granite State. First of the 13 colonies to declare independence from Mother England, New Hampshire is also home to the first U.S. astronaut Alan Bartlett Shepard Jr., who hails from East Derry. Your favorite auto glass blogger, yours truly, also calls New Hampshire home.
When you’re not wondering what the state flower is (the purple lilac), or need to know the state bird (the purple finch), you could probably find a better source.
